2′-(2-Methyl-1H-indol-3-ylmethyl-ene)benzene-sulfonohydrazide

The mol-ecules of the title compound, C16H15N3O2S, are linked by an N - H(indol-yl)⋯O(sulfon-yl) hydrogen bond into a linear chain that runs along the a axis. A weak N - H(hydrazid-yl)⋯O(sulfon-yl) hydrogen bond links the chains into a layer. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
