Summary:As for the accomplishment of customer satisfaction, the satisfaction of employees in the service organization is imperative. The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting job satisfaction at fast food restaurants. In this study the population targeted employees of fast food restaurants ‘X’ in Kota Bharu Kelantan and just focused on one brands of fast food restaurants. Factors examined include work condition, remuneration, fairness and recognition. A total of 111 questionnaires were distributed to employees in the Fast Food Restaurants ‘X’. Data collected was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 18.0. The study showed that organizational factors such as work conditions, remuneration, fairness, and recognition significantly influenced employee job satisfaction in fast food restaurants. The research provided a better understanding regarding the factors affecting job satisfaction in fast food restaurants. In the final chapter, some recommendations were provided for future use to any researcher in this academic field. Discussion on findings, conclusion and limitations of the study are also included in the report.
