Summary:In Malaysia, airlines industry has emerging and become a common transportation tool to send the passengers from origin place to another place especially during travel time. However, there are few serious and fatal airlines incidents happened in year 2014 and the influence of the incidents is still an unknown. This research has been conducted to identify factors influencing people’s demand to travel by airlines after airlines incident in Malaysia. A set of questionnaire has been used as a collecting data method and distributed to 200 respondents among staff, students and local tourist and local people in Malaysia. As an overall finding, the researcher found out that the images, perception and loyalty had a positive relationship to the Malaysian’s demand to travel by using airlines. Besides that, the price of the airlines services is the most high reasons why people choosing to travel by using airlines. As a conclusion, the airlines incidents involve Malaysia has given an influence towards the demand of using airlines based on the image of the airlines, perception of public and loyalty of the customer.
