Description
Summary:Schiff base linking unit was seen as effective in improving the thermal properties of the compounds due to its excellent rigidity. These materials able to exhibit good self-reinforcement performance, high strength, prominent heat resistance and have excellent corrosion resistance. In this study, two series of compounds with Schiff base linking unit attached to different terminal substituents (nonyl, dodecyl) was synthesized. The functional group of these compounds were confirmed by using Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR).
