In this paper, developed detection technique for incoherent spectral-amplitude coding optical code-division multiple-access (SAC-OCDMA) systems is presented. In order to tighten the correspondence between practical and theoretical results, the most dominant noises that might influence the performance of the SAC-OCDMA systems such as intensity, shot, and thermal noises are considered. The probability density function (PDF) and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of modified quadratic congruence (MQC) code are evaluated and compared according to the results obtained. The numerical results confirm that the proposed system using modified-AND subtraction detection can substantially accommodate a lot of users with enhanced PDF and higher SNR. 2013-02-14T08:22:52Z 2013-02-14T08:22:52Z 2012-07-03 Working Paper p. 531-534 978-146730478-8 http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?arnumber=6271243 http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/23553 en Proceedings of the International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE) 2012 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
