We have found that the highest output SHG efficiency is obtained for the maximal Ga2S3 content and with simultaneous presence of Ag2S. We have shown that the SHG effect exists only during simultaneous dc- and thermal poling at about 120 °C. After switching off of the dc-electric field the effect is completely reversible. The maximally achieved value of the effective second-order optical susceptibility is equal to about 0.75 pm/V at 1540 nm wavelength, which allows to propose to apply these materials for the laser operation. 2014-06-11T11:04:41Z 2014-06-11T11:04:41Z 2013-10 Article Optics Communications, vol. 307, 2013, pages 1-4 0030-4018 http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0030401813004902 http://dspace.unimap.edu.my:80/dspace/handle/123456789/35392 10.1016/j.optcom.2013.05.012 en Elsevier Ltd.
