Job requirements are changing rapidly in the banking institutions with the inclusion of new technologies and the growing electronic banking sector. The main objective of this study is to find the level of job security that employees of banks have in the banking institutes. The study has been conducted using a 7-point Likert scale questionnaire in order to find out the employee attitude towards job security. The variables analysed in this paper are the effect of automatic teller machine (ATM), internet banking services, electronic money transfer and telephone banking on the overall attitude of employees of the banks towards their job security. The study used regression in SPSS using the responses from 101 respondents and discovered that all variables have a positive relationship with job security instead of a negative correlation. This means employees are not significantly affected by their job security due to emerging technology. The study concluded, the results is due to banks shifting recruiting policy towards hiring more technical workers and conducting training programs for filling the gap in knowledge. 2020-02-27T11:18:54Z 2020-02-27T11:18:54Z 2020-02 Article International Journal of Business and Technopreneurship, vol.10(1), 2020, pages 31-50 2231-7090 (printed) 2232-1543 (online) http://dspace.unimap.edu.my:80/xmlui/handle/123456789/64324 https://ijbt.unimap.edu.my/ en School of Business Innovation and Technopreneurship, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)
