They appear to have the most taxonomic problem due to the present of many tiny or drab-colored species. This study records and discuss on the collection of voucher specimens of the tribe Lamiini (Cerambycidae: Lamiinae) in UNIMAS Insect Reference Collection, Faculty of Resource Science and Technology (UIRC) and Research Development and Innovation Division (RDID) of Sarawak Forest Department. A total of 622 specimens comprising of 39 species under 23 genera of the tribe Lamiini (Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Lamiini) were examined which represent 23.87% of the Bomean species. The genus Cereopsius were found to be dominant in terms of species composition. Epepeotes luscus and Acalolepta rusticatrix are the most widely distributed species in Sarawak and show the highest number of individual in the collections, which also reflect the most abundant species. Despite of being widely distributed, Euthyastus binotatus represent the rare species as only a singleton was found in each locality. Mixed dipterocarp and riverine forest exhibit the highest number of species recorded whereas heath and mangrove forest comprised of the lowest. Wet-dry seasons shows the highest diversity and abundance of the species occurance. A systematic account of every species and distribution maps of the Lamiini of Sarawak is also presented.
