Summary:Electrical energy play a huge role in the industrial sector as well as the development of a country. As the demand of electricity increasing day by day, researched are force to seek for alternative energy sources to prevent a future that experiencing shortage of power. After so much of constant effort put in this sector, researcher have found a solution to substitute the conventional sources which is generating power using renewable energy source. This invention have caught the eyes of many country and many country are encouraging the use of this new energy sources. This energy sources are popular due to its sustainability, environmentally friendly and relatively easy to access. Besides that, conventional energy sources has a limit to its quantity however renewable energy sources can be continuously replenished by the natural process. From this thesis, the focus will be on one of the sources of renewable energy by using the wastes from the moving vehicle pass through the speed breaker to generate. This paper focus on studying on modelling and designing a mechanism that produce power from the wasted energy from the moving vehicle when it pass through the speed breaker. There are three mechanism of RPG can be used to generate power. There are many advantage to be found by implementing this mechanism to generate electricity such as it is environmental friendly and do not required any fuel to generate power. Thus, creating a prototype for this mechanism to test it and implement on the highway to lighten up the street light is recommend to substitute the use of conventional sources.
