The indirect lightning strike was remodelled by means of the Rusck model and the sum of two Heidler function. The simulations were carried out using the EMTP-RV which includes the comparison performance results between the Cast Epoxy, the Cycloaliphatic Epoxy A and the Glass Reinforced Plastic bracket materials with the station arresters when imposed by a 14 kA (0.4/12 ?s), The results demonstrated that the Glass Reinforced Plastic material showed a better coordination with the station arresters. � 2021 IEEE.
