The current PIV experiment involved the use of laser illumination system, high speed camera, filler particles and wave-motion generator. Furthermore, the investigated simple small-scaled liquid-sediment model was constructed using a pile of sands in an aquarium tank. The subsequent image processing and analysis were conducted using PIVlab software.
