Summary:The aims of this study are to explore the understanding of teachers on Skinner’s Operant Conditioning Theory and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory, teachers’ practices of these theories in Shaping Students’ behaviors in the classroom, the effectiveness of these theories and explores the relevance of these theories and its relatedness to Islamic perspective. Qualitative research method and purposeful sampling were used in this study where respondents are chosen purposely to fulfill the aims of the study. Researcher uses interview method that will lead the researcher to go deeper upon the matter that the researcher wants to study. A set of probing questions are asked during the interview session. Researcher estimated to choose 5-6 teachers who had an experienced in teaching for five years and above. All of the recorded interviews are transcribed and analyzed by using coding process.
