Description
The aims of this study were to: (a) examine the influence factors on the Malaysia Private Higher Education Institutions (PREis) competitiveness in quality: and (b) investigate whether green initiatives serve as a mediator in the relationship. Influence factors comprise top management support, government support, stakeholder pressure, and faculty support and regulation compliance. Four main hypothesized relationships were analyzed on a sample of 138 PREis located across Malaysia. Data were gathered through online questionnaires. From statistical analysis point of view, influence factors were found to provide five dimensions as theorized. Hierarchical regressions result showed that five influence factors were positively and significantly influence PREis competitiveness in quality. All variable of influence factors except regulation compliance was positively and significantly influence PREis green initiatives.
