Summary:This study explores the relationship between leadership styles adopted by those working at managerial and organizational commitment in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship and it is the effect between leadership style and organizational commitment among managers in both public and private sector organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A total of 1,000 questionnaires are distributed to employees working at different managerial levels in both public and private organizations. Statistical analyses of reliability, correlations, and regression are conducted in this study. This study found that leadership styles; namely transformational and transactional leadership present a positive significant relationship with organizational commitment three types; affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment, and that Bahraini managers prefer transformational leadership styles compared to transactional leadership
