A Microstrip split-ring resonator with two gaps is implemented for the design of the sensors. Several types of solvents are tested with quartz capillary to verify the sensor performance by simulation. At 2.4 GHz, the split-ring resonator demonstrates significant changes in resonant frequency. Finally, a comparison between previous research works is performed in order to evaluate the effectiveness of resonator sensors for the development of material characterization industry.
