This has caused poor acoustic quality especially with high reverberation times (RT). Two different acoustical treatments were applied on the scaled model, i.e. using kenaf fibres and micro perforated panel (MPP) to investigate their effects on the acoustics of the scaled mosque. Experimental measurement was conducted to measure the RT before and after the treatment. It was found that introducing the kenaf fibres and the MPP absorbers had successfully reduced the reverberation time mostly at frequencies above 1 kHz.
