Summary: | Optical fibers telecommunications is a new frontier in modern telecommunications to carry massive data and allow larger bandwidth. A mathematical studied on the optical fibers telecommunications systems gives the model of optical solitons using forced nonlinear Schrödinger equation (fNLS). Numerical simulations and approximate solutions was applied due to the existence of the forcing term in fNLS equation. The outcomes further explained the existence of the group velocity dispersion (GVD) and self-phase modulations (SPM) in optical fiber interact with optical pulses and propagations of optical signals in fiber optics. Mathematical modeling helps scientist to further understand the needs to enhance future telecommunications systems. |
