The indigenous people known as the people who practice conventional lifestyle as subsistence activities and their dependence on government assistance. However, there are people who have managed to improve their living standards through entrepreneurial activity, namely the Orang Kuala in Rengit, Johor, Malaysia. The Kuala people have shown a good community development to be emulated by other indigenous peoples. They have sought to make their business known to the outside community until they have been recognized by the government as a community of entrepreneurship-based businesses. The purpose of this paper is to see how the process of Orang Asli community's ability to improve the socio-economic development of their communities. The design of this study is case study through semi-structured interviews with 15 participants who are involved in entrepreneurship of selling used goods. All the interview transcripts will be undergo NVIVO 11 to find out the process that they have been through. This study suggested that there are three phases in the change process of the Orang Kuala’s entrepreneurship. The findings of this research hoped that it will help others towards development of Orang Asli’s economy.
