Description
Summary:The 21st century learning environment has been moving towards student-centered learning, and one approach is collaborative learning. Collaborative learning can positively impact on students' engagement and provides an opportunity for students to work in a team. This study presents an attempt to explore students' perceptions of collaborative learning involving the content of knowledge, motivation, and team working skills. The collaborative activity was implemented in Electronic Circuit and System (ECS) course on voltage regulator topic. Results show that the collaborative activity able to improve students' content of knowledge, learning motivation intrinsically as well as team working skills. The collaborative learning strategy provides a mechanism for students to build a positive relationship with each other and provide an experience that can maximized student learning.
