Summary: | COVID-19 pandemic had affected work practices and its culture in many organizations. Working from home or office both are challenging for the banking sector employees as the digitalization that took place requires the employees to be more adaptive upon the changes. Digitalization led to the workload, which critically affected their level of productivity. The aims of this study are to determine the level of work-life balance among employees of the private banks in Sulaymaniyah, to determine level of employee’s productivity among employees of the private bank in Sulaymaniyah and to determine the relationship between work-life balance and employee’s productivity among employees of private banks in Sulaymaniyah. Quantitative method is used to achieved the objectives of this study. Findings show that work- life balance and employee’s productivity in private banks among employees are moderate. Besides, there is a significant positive relationship between both variables in private banks in Sulaymaniyah. The level of productivity and work-life balance has been impacted by different external and internal factors such as COVID-19 pandemic, demographic background, culture, environment, and employee satisfaction. It is recommended to introduce compensation plans to recognize employee’s hard works which will directly improve employee’s productivity in the organisation. |
