Summary: | Industry 4.0 introduces a digital economy through its technology application in boosting economic growth and business competitiveness. The Internet of Things (IoT) is IR 4.0 technology resulting from the wide use of the Internet globally. IoT is now being adopted in the healthcare sector with the aim of meeting the expectation of better treatment and better quality of life. Numerous studies and projects of IoT in healthcare were done in the process, and it is important to have a smooth adaptation of technology for wellness optimization and disease management. The awareness and acceptance of the end user, which is healthcare professionals in handling IoT technology, is a matter to look into in detail, especially when there are many drives and initiatives taken by the government. A study using an online survey was carried out involving 580 respondents. Results showed respondents have good and moderate levels of awareness and received a 99.5 percent score for IoT and Machine Learning (ML) will give more freedom and mobility at work. The educational and knowledge level of IoT and ML play a role in the readiness of infrastructure and policy awareness. |
