Summary:In this dissertation, two dimensional rotating magnetohydrodynamics flow of a Newtonian fluid has been considered. Lie group theory has been employed to handle the nonlinear governing equations. A full one-parameter infinitesimal transformation group and associates Lie algebra has been obtained for equations of motion governing the flow. A subgroup of full one parameter infinitesimal group has been used to obtain the reductions. Then by process of back substitution, the exact analytical solutions for the problem under discussion have been obtained.
