Rentetan itu, sebelum memulakan sesi P&P guru Pendidikan Islam perlu peka, membuat analisis tentang latar belakang pelajar, serta bijak untuk memilih apakah bentuk metodologi yang sesuai untuk digunakan agar pengajaran mereka dapat diterima dan di fahami oleh para pelajar. Jika dilihat dari aspek Pendidikan Islam itu sendiri, sudah pasti model yang tepat untuk dijadikan rujukan adalah Rasulullah S.A.W. kerana baginda adalah guru yang terbaik bagi semua umat manusia. Justeru, kertas kerja ini akan mengupas bentuk-bentuk metodologi atau kaedah pengajaran yang digunakan oleh Baginda menurut perspektif pemikiran imam al-Nawawi dalam kitab himpunan hadis empat puluh. (English Translation: Teaching methodologies applied by a teacher, especially a teacher of Islamic education is of paramount importance to ensure a successful teaching and learning. Before starting the process of teaching and learning, Islamic education teachers need to be aware, to make an analysis of the background of the students, and smart enough to choose what form an appropriate methodology to be used. This is so that teaching can be received and understood by the students. Moreover, the right model to serve as references in methods of teaching and learning is a model of the Prophet Peace Upon Him because he is the best teacher of all mankind.
