Summary: | The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of knowledge, level of practice and problem in implementing the School-Based Assessment (SBA) in five primary schools in Durian Tunggal’s area in Melaka. The study is involving 50 respondents who had been experienced in teaching new KSSR’s curriculum and also had carried out the SBA in their schools. The type of this study is using the descriptive analysis and a set of questionnaires measuring with five points of Likert’s Scale. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient for the instrument is 0.862. The purpose of this study also to look whether there are differences between level of knowledge, practice and problem arise among teachers in implementing the School-Based Assessment in school. The results were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0. The T-Test and ANOVA test were at level ? = 0.05 and used to answer the questions. Mean, frequencies dan percentages were also used ti analyse this study. Overall, the results showed that the level of knowledge and level of practice among teachers in implementing the School-Based Assessment is positive and high. Meanwhile the problem is average. As a result, this study proved that well-managed School-Based Assessment will help the teachers to carry out the tasks systematically and able to make improvements onwards. |
