In the present study, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) detection was developed for chromatographic fingerprint analysis of the extract from grounded plant materials of Jamu Diabetes (JD), a well known herbal formulation in Malaysia. The bioactive markers rosmarinic acid, curcumin, cinnamaldehyde and andrographolide were identified from the methanol/water (80:20) extract of JD materials.
