Summary: | Strong economic growth with the stability of internal political factors gives confidence to the investors to expand their business in Malaysia. This stability in the economic developments, causing the market price of the house becoming increase and some group especially the youth is no longer able to afford any of it. These researches are focusing on the house affordability amongst Bumiputera youth between 20 to 40 years old in Gelang Patah. Main objective of these researches was to identify the level of ability and also the factors faced by the youth in the process of buying houses. The raw data obtained through distribution of questionnaires and direct interview with respondents and local people. The data collected will then be analyzed using frequency analysis techniques, Likert Scale, Cross Tabulation Analysis and Testing “Chi-Square”. The results showed that demographic factors had the most significant relationship with income in influencing housing affordability Bumiputra youth. This shows that respondents of different demographic factors can affect the housing market and lead to the level of ability varies. |
