Description
Summary:Three-dimensional image reconstruction with the application of a wireless device helps in filtering noise during data collection. Control board is used to make sure that one infrared sensor turn ON at a time, due to the possibilities that data reflected is not received to the correct sensor. The entire object is wrapped using black color paper to obtain a stable data, and distance between sensors and object surface is fixed to 5 centimeters. Arduino Uno as a microcontroller to control the overall system in this device and CoolTerm is used to save infrared data in a text file. Data received will be uploaded to Matlab Software for image reconstruction. A few image processing techniques are applied to obtain the 3D image of a real object. From the experiment, this device is able to reconstruct the 3D image of a different shape of an object up to 96 % in accuracy.
