This study, presents the test development process measures students' achievement and social goal orientation towards academic attainment. Rasch Measurement Model was used for the data analysis. Reliability and validity exhibited a satisfactory measure of students' goals orientation but eventually with the empirical omission of performance goals. Implication of these tests can be used for placement, diagnostic and predictive assessment purposes.
