Nearly 40,000 to 70,000 people die each year in United State because of pneumonia. Therefore, it is not a surprise that pneumonia is one of the most critical illnesses for children under 12 years old in many parts of the world, including Malaysia and particularly in Sabah, Malaysia. This paper presents a descriptive analysis of the data, which are retrieved from the medical reports at the Sabah General Hospital. Through the findings, pneumonia is widely spread among young children under 12 years old.
