SPSS software version 22 was used to analyze the data. The result of t-test demonstrated a significant difference between Malaysian Islamic and conventional credit card holders, which implies that religiosity plays a crucial role in the type of credit card holding. This study would assist issuing banks, academicians and policymakers in understanding the role of religiosity among Muslims in the selection of financial products.
