Description
Summary:Though Resource Based Theory has attracted significant application in the field of management, it has gained little attention and use in the field of facilities management in spite of its usefulness and applicability. This study builds upon resources and capabilities attributes in this theory to conceptualize a critical resources and capabilities model for Green Cleaning services implementation and performance. Based on this conceptualized model, it is proposed that successful green cleaning services implementation and performance are based on the availability and efficient alignment of critical resources and competencies. It is predicted that effective application and performance of green cleaning services is based on the availability and productive utilization of essential resources and will be moderated by the influence of stakeholders. This study would assist stakeholders in the cleaning industry to understand the essential resources required for successful green cleaning services implementation and competitive organizational performance.
