Description
Summary:Information is a valuable commodity in the era of globalization to be mastered in order to improve the competitiveness of an organization. This is evident from the various applications of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that appear in some local governments. But the fact is that the utilization of ICT has not yet had a significant impact on the productivity of district government. One of the dominant causes is the lack of synchronization of the objectives of district governement activities with the purpose of activities undertaken by the government using Information Technology to provide services to the community (e-Government) itself. This paper discusses the tactical steps of e-Government development based on the theory of various agencies that have implemented e-Government and will produce optimal results.
