Summary: | In this study, hair waste is washed using mild-detergent and non-ionic detergent-acetone method to remove the impurities such as human sweat, contaminants and other inorganic materials. The HSH was subsequently oven-dried overnight and stored in the dry place. The processed HSH was tested in private orchard for 5 days. The changes in amount of feed bait used for wild hog along that period is observed. From the 5 days test indicates the potential of HSH as temporary repellent from wild hog browsing activity. |
