Summary:A married woman has many roles to play in the society i.e. a wife, mother, and daughter in law etc. which was really a highly stressful job. With the increase in population throughout the globe the access to basic needs of life has been limited and it was then the need of modern time that women work side by side with men in order to run their house. Being at workplace and at home brings no of challenges for women which in turn influence the quality of life of women. In the present study, The WHOQOL-BREF (1996) Questionnaire was administered on 80 married women participants age ranging from 25-40 years. Out of which 40 were Married working women and 40 housewives in Bijnor, UP. Independent T-test was used for statistical analysis of data. Result showed that there was no difference between Married working women and housewives on physical health whereas both the group differs on psychological, social and the environmental aspect.
