The paper employed Critical Discourse approach to deconstruct the text with a view to see how the writer used various linguistic devices as persuasive elements. It was found out that the writer employed various ideological modes and linguistic elements to successfully register his opinions. Hence, the paper holds to confirm further that discourse is indeed a social action which is usually influenced by the writer’s affiliation.
