All the phase equilibrium measurements are performed by using a Cailletet apparatus. The experimental temperature range is from 275 up to 295 K and the pressure range is from 1 up to 10 MPa. The addition of THF has been proven to significantly reduce the hydrate equilibrium pressure at a specified temperature. Moreover, the hydrate formed in the aqueous THF solutions is found to be more thermally stable compared to that of in water only.
