The Load Analysis of the New Zero-Voltage- Switching Synchronous Buck Converter

This paper proposes a new ZVS synchronous buck converter circuit where the switching loss is minimized at the high and low side switches. By employing additional L and C component connected in parallel to both switches, the issues of high stress and switching loss have been solved. The proposed...

Description
Summary:This paper proposes a new ZVS synchronous buck converter circuit where the switching loss is minimized at the high and low side switches. By employing additional L and C component connected in parallel to both switches, the issues of high stress and switching loss have been solved. The proposed circuit has also shown the improvement in power loss savings compared to the conventional synchronous buck converter in different load conditions. The work is simulated using PSpice and the results are analyzed.
