Because of that, this research is to examine the relationship between managing change based on demographic factors (gender, age, level of management and education), leadership (leadership style and vision), structure (task structure and system, policy and procedure) and environment (competition, technology, community and government policy). The researcher has constructed a research model adapted from the models by Cornell (1996), Zeffane (1996) and Ananda and Jyotsna (1998). This research is conducted at the University Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah. This research also involved the respondents administration staff from seven department, 10 schools, one unit, two institution and six centres included a university Library. Stratified Random Sampling selected 163 respondents. A set of questionnaires was distributed to the subjects consisting five sections : demography factor, leadership factor, structure factor, environments factor and managing change. Data were analyzed using correlation Pearson, one-way ANOVA and T-Test. The result indicated that managing change have significant relationship between age, level of management factor, education, leadership style, task structure, system, policy and procedure, competition, technology, community and government policy. The result also showed that gender factor and vision do not have significant relationship with managing change.
