Industrial Accident Prevention Safety behavior plays a significant role in reducing occupational injuries and accidents at the workplace especially in high risk industries and in manufacturing sectors. By improving the attitudes of the workers in organizations, safety and health aspects as well as the employees' well-being can be better determined. The study examines the perceptions and levels of employees in two local offices situated in Shah Alam and Singapore of a leading multinational instrumentation and service company towards an extended behavioral based safety program known as safety citizenship behavior with regards to six (6) variables; workers participation, safety training, perceived management commitment towards safety, safety communication and feedback, work pressure and safety-specific transformational leadership. One hundred and fifty two (152) questionnaires were distributed to the employees. Data collected from the responded one hundred and fifty one (151) respondents revealed that out of the six (6) variables mentioned, five (5) variables; workers participation, safety training, safety communication and feedback, work pressure and safety-specific transformational leadership showed significant relationship towards safety citizenship behavior.
