Summary:The study examined burnout level among physical educators and sports' teachers (PJS) and its relation to work environment in schools.The adapted questionnaires from Fejgin et al (1995) and Pines and Aronson (1981) were administered to 82 respondens.The results of the study showed that the PJS teachers had low level of burbout.T-test analysis indicated that there was a significance difference of burnout level between the PJS teachers in primary and secondary schools.The result of the study also revealed that there was a significance relationships between each dimensions of work environment and burnout among the PJS teachers.Thus, stepwise multiple regression analysis proved that bureacratic and social dimensions was the significant contributors on burnout among PJS teachers.This study suggests on improvement of the work environment and the PJS teachers should play a wider role in the management and administration of the schools.
