Industrial Management Current business environment revealed that the cutting edge business competition is no longer between firms, but between supply chains to achieve competitive advantages.The worldwide textile and apparel markets are essential known for its supply chain reliance.The nature of the textile and apparel business prompts to accentuation on the smooth process of upstream and downstream of the supply chain.The nature of this industry, however, result in huge dynamic flow of physical, information, and financial.The dynamic management of these flows needs capability of organizational culture in achieving higher supply chain operational performance.Although, innovation is extensively studied in many industries by researchers, but organizational innovativeness in Malaysia’s textile and apparel industry is limited. The holistic review on the literatures revealed that there is relatively a limited number of academic study conducted on recent developments in Malaysian textile and apparel industry and organizational innovativeness show a major gap in supply chain performance studies, especially supply chain operational performance.This study aims to investigate organizational innovativeness of Malaysia textile and apparel companies. The conceptual model and hypotheses are develop from the review of previous studies.In order to get the better results, the SmartPLS analytical software is used to facilitate the process of data analyses of this study. The result underlined the benefits perceived by the textile and apparel companies from organizational innovativeness.This study can be used as a precursor for future research studies.
