That requires a revolution of teaching practices and learning techniques. Business strategy game (BSG) serves as a realistic representation of the actual practices in a virtual setting, and use it to cultivate managerial skills mainly in decision making. This paper explored the educational benefits of the game based approach in teaching and learning strategic management at School of Business Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Approximately, 21 strategic management students participated in this research. Overall, the respondents provided a positive response about the benefit of the game based approach in teaching and learning process.
