Description
Summary:Natural disasters are a common phenomenon on earth due to certain factors. Therefore, early exposure should be applied to the community since the beginning of school. Learning about disasters is very important for everyone to know about the effects and consequences of natural disasters. Therefore, a study was conducted titled education of disaster using game technique among children. Disaster education has different dimensions from school, family, to educational societies. Education is a process that needs to be instilled at various levels of management and practice to reduce the risk collectively (Takeuchi.Y, 2011). In addition, the use of games in communicating information about natural disasters is a very effective technique because of the age factors that led to this method being selected for study. The objective of this study was to develop a disaster-related game for children. Additionally, it provides children with exposure to natural disasters through disaster play. And the last is to give children's awareness of natural disasters through the games provided. This study was conducted at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tangga and focused on standard 5, who are 11 years old.
