Industrial Management The study aims to evaluate the factors that influence food dietary pattern among the young generation and what causes healthy lifestyle. During the process of study, there is a problem statement that we have always encountered; i.e. many university students lacked the awareness and knowledge about healthy food diet. Specifically, the study aims to evaluate the level of awareness of STML students in UUM on the importance of dietary pattern that leads to healthy lifestyle. This study had used primary data for example questionnaire. The samples chosen are the UUM students from School of Technology and Logistics Management (STML) where their awareness, as the young generation towards dietary pattern that leads to healthy lifestyle is examined. There are three independent variables identified which are economic factor, social factor and individual knowledge factor in dietary pattern; and the dependent variable is food dietary pattern leads to healthy lifestyle. This study identifies the factors associated with the dietary pattern among STML students. Dietary pattern affects the health condition and future career of STML students. Therefore, the findings of this study will act as baseline data in developing evidence-based healthy lifestyle programs. To start eating healthy, enhancement in individual knowledge should be given the attention. For example, there should be an improvement in the educational system of the country where more allocation in educational expenditure be approved. Besides, an improvement is needed in assessing the availability of healthy food in the public and private spaces occupied by young people. For example, a better labelling in food product will help the young generation to get more information about the food product itself.
