Summary:Remote learning is defined as any forms of learning using the internet and the technology but without the traditional classroom face-to-face interaction. Remote learning can be done synchronously or/and asynchronously. Given the challenges to assist all faculty members in terms of learning and teaching (L&T), the Department of Academic Affairs (HEA) has developed the Guidelines for Remote Learning Assessments and the guidelines for Remote Learning Tools. This study is another important step taken by the HEA in order to monitor the implementation of remote learning. The online survey provides the researchers with a baseline data on the effects of the abrupt changes to both instructors and students in their T&L processes. The results will enable us, if necessary, to make changes to the current policies and framework for teaching and learning to ensure minimal hindrance
