my.uum.repo.80462013-05-23T04:58:08Z http://repo.uum.edu.my/8046/ Managers' fringe benefits: A study of three, four and five star-hotels in Langkawi Ahmad, Rozila GV Recreation Leisure The purpose of this empirical study is to gain information regarding managerial employees' compensation in the hotel industry.The number of literatures concerning executive compensation in the hospitality industry is very few especially those focusing on fringe benefits.To fill the gap in the hospitality human resources literature, this study assessed the level of fringe benefits provided to managerial employees.Stratified random sampling technique was used to ensure that the findings represent three, four and five-star hotels.A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed to the ratio of 6:3:4 three, four and five-star hotels and 104 were returned.
