The research findings show that grammatical cohesion is used in a very high rate to connect the text together. Furthermore, among different types of grammatical cohesive devices, reference and conjunction account for most of cohesion with 74% and 24% respectively, which shows that the text is highly cohesive. Substitution and ellipsis, in contrast, take up only 1% for each type. This may indicate that there are few conversations among characters. In other words, the imbalance use of cohesion helps depict the writing style of literary documents in general and of Jack London in particular. 2017-05-17T07:57:55Z 2017-05-17T07:57:55Z 2014 Thesis 04051001111 http://repository.vnu.edu.vn/handle/VNU_123/41214 en Luận văn ngành Lý luận và phương pháp giảng dạy tiếng Anh (Full) 42 p. + CD-ROM application/pdf ĐHNN
