Au/Ag alloy nanoparticles were prepared by laser induced synthesis from a mixture of colloidal Au and Ag nanoparticles. The influence of the laser power, laser irradiation time and laser wavelength in the synthesis process were studied. The structure and morphology of nanoparticles were characterized by using UV - vis absorption spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy - dispersive X - ray spectroscopy (EDX), and X - ray diffraction measurements.
