Telecommunication industry: Key metrics and stock performance

This thesis provide an empirical study to identify the relationship between key metrics including financial ratios or featured indicators and total stock return of telecommunication corporations to see whether those metrics has any significant impacts on the fluctuation of telecommunication companies’ stock price. Annual data are collected from the financial statement of the biggest communication companies around the world then used to calculate the necessary metrics and the correlations between these metrics and TSR. After that, the data from these companies are used to create a multiple regression model to evaluate the effects of each metric to the TSR
