Summary: | The Law on Access to Information '(or' LAI 'in short) was passed by the National Assembly of Vietnam on 6 April 2016 and came into force on 1 July 2018. The Law plays a very important role in specifying the rights of citizenship, which is stipulated in Article 25 of the 2013 Constitution. The implementation of this Law will have positive World on state agencies, people and businesses, including strengthening of efficiency of the state management and improvement of the state - and - citizen relationship, and on the statutory compliance of public servants, people and businesses. Besides, the review of the LAI implementation through the web portals of a number of and central agencies, the Mining Coalition, the Forestry Land Coalition, the Clean Water Coalition and the Central for Education and Promotion and Empowerment of Women (CEPEW) (hereinafter referred to as the Research Team ') conducted a preliminary assessment on the LAI implementation in the areas of Ha Giang province, Quang Binh province and Da Nang City. |
